The place should be safe too. Your pets should not be able to get out of the compound so your pets will not get lost while you are away. The kennels also need to be clean in order for them to be safe and healthy there too. The kennels should be made of concrete and aluminum instead of wood so kennels are easy to clean. And more importantly, the staff should really make it a point to clean them too. This way, bacteria, molds and mildew would be avoided.

Enough Room

It's important that there is enough room for your pets. They should each have their own kennels to be safe from very aggressive dogs. This would also ensure that that your dogs will not be cramped and they will have room to stretch about. This would even help avoid your dogs from getting restless and unhappy during their stay there.
